10 Best Romantic Movies for Valentine's Day 2023

Valentine's Day is coming up, and love is in the air. Spending time with your Valentine watching a romantic movie and eating popcorn is a great idea. People like romance and happy endings, and nothing gives them more of a guilty pleasure than a good romantic story. Here are some of the best romantic Bollywood movies that you and your partner can watch at home on Valentine's Day.

1. Jab We Met (Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor's Movie)

The movie was directed by Imtiaz Ali, and the main characters were played by Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. This movie was definitely one of a kind, and all true romantics should see it. As the movie shows, love comes when you least expect it. People who are in love will be moved by the song "Jab We Met." This movie is available on Netflix.

2. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone's Movie)

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin, is one of the most well-known movies. Ayan Mukerji was in charge of the movie. It has many stories about love and friendship. In the last scene, when Bunny (Ranbir) finally comes to Naina (Padukone) and asks her to marry him, our hearts always melt. This movie is available on Netflix.

3. Barfi (Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra's Movie)

A deaf-mute man and an autistic woman fall in love in the movie "Barfi!" There were a lot of sad parts in the story, and it showed how love can look past things that other people find strange. Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra) and Barfi (Ranbir Kapoor) are an odd couple in the movie. Remember the scene where Ranbir Kapoor tried to find out how much Priyanka Chopra cared about him? This movie made me think about love in a new way. Anurag Basu was in charge of making the movie. This movie is available on Netflix.

4. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (The Movie of Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar)

Shubh Mangal In Zyada Saavdhan, a gay couple is trying to get one of their parents to approve of their relationship. It stars Khurrana, Jitendra Kumar, Gajraj Rao, and Neena Gupta. Hitesh Kewalya was in charge of making the movie. This movie is available on Amazon Prime.

5. Vivah (Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao's Movie)

Vivah is one of my favourite movies of all time. This movie is about what happens when two people get engaged and then get married. Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Arora did a great job of showing the nervousness, cute innocence, and all the other feelings that any couple going through an arranged marriage goes through. Sooraj R. Barjatya was in charge of making the movie. This movie is available on Amazon Prime and Zee5.

6. Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (Imran Khan and Genelia D'Souza)

The movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na is about love and friendship. Imran Khan and Genelia D'Souza, Aditi and her best friend Jai fall in love, but they think they are just friends. Abbas Tyrewala was in charge of making the movie. At the end, both characters realise how much they love each other. When Aditi moves to another country, Jai realises he needs to do his big thing. He surprises her at the airport and asks her to marry him in a way that everyone will remember. This movie is available on Netflix.

7. Ram Leela (Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's Movie)

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh worked together on Ram Leela, which was their first movie together. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was in charge of making it.

Based on Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," the movie is about how Ram (Ranveer Singh) and Leela (Deepika Padukone), who are from rival families Rajadi and Sanera but fall in love, and how they have to make a sacrifice for their love. This movie can be seen on Voot.

8. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Fawad Khan's Movie)

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Fawad Khan. Karan Johar was in charge of the movie. Most people in the audience could relate to the movie because it was about love that only one person felt. Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) and Alizeh (Anushka Sharma) become friends in the story. Alizeh doesn't feel the same way about Ayan as he does about her. The story is about how he deals with a relationship with only one person. This movie made us laugh, cry, and fall in love with the characters. The plot and songs of the movie were both catchy and well-known. This movie can be seen on Voot.

9. Aashiqui 2, the movie starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur

Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur were in the movie Aashiqui 2. Mohit Suri was in charge of the movie. This movie is an old-fashioned love story that shows how love can be pure, strong, selfless, and full of feelings. Aditya Roy Kapur plays Rahul Jaykar, a singer who is losing his popularity. He falls in love with Aarohi, a bar singer played by Shraddha Kapoor. Then he helps her become a famous singer, but his drinking puts their relationship at risk. This movie is a must-see if you like intense love stories. This movie is available on Google Play and YouTube.

10. Khoobsurat (the movie starring Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan)

Because Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan are in it, this will always be our favourite romantic movie. Shashanka Ghosh's movie Khoobsurat is about our dream of getting married to our prince charming. The king of Rajasthan, Shekhar Singh Rathore, hires Dr. Mili (Sonam Kapoor), who is a physiotherapist (Aamir Raza). She then meets Vikram, who is the son of his rival (Fawad Khan). Mili, a carefree girl, and Vikram, a refined prince, fall in love, and the story goes on. This movie is available on Netflix.
