The Richest Shark Amit Jain’s Net Worth and Story

Shark Tank India 2 has a diverse panel of judges. The judges—sharks—are CarDekho group founder Amit Jain, boAt founder Aman Gupta, LensKart founder Peyush Bansal, Sugar Cosmetics founder Vineeta Singh, Shaadi.com founder Anupam Mittal, and Emcure Pharmaceuticals Director Namita Thapar.



CarDekho CEO Amit Jain is Shark Tank India Season 2's wealthiest judge. Amit Jain replaced Rs 700 crore BharatPe founder Ashneer Grover on Shark Tank India.

In season two of Shark Tank India, CarDekho co-founder and CEO Amit Jain takes over for Ashneer Grover. Jain, who has a ridiculously large net worth of Rs 2900 crore, according to TOI, will be looking forward to making wise investments and developing his business when he joins Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, peyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh on the reality show.  Since Amit Jain is a huge sports fan, it's no surprise that he went to Qatar to watch the FIFA World Cup.

CarDekho CEO Amit Jain is by far the richest judge on Shark Tank India Season 2, with a huge business empire that puts him far ahead of all the other sharks. 

According to TOI, Amit Jain, Shark Tank India's new judge and CarDekho group's co-founder and CEO, graduated from IIT Delhi like Grover. Jaipur-born entrepreneur started his first firm in Austin, Texas, after working there. After returning to India, Jain founded CarDekho with his brother Anurag in 2007. Then, in 2015, the websites CarDekho.com and InsuranceDekho.com came up, providing customers with a resource for finding the best insurance and automobile coverage.

Amit Jain was born to a Jain family in Jaipur, Rajasthan on November 17, 1976. His mother is a stay-at-home mom, while his father was an astrologist. St. Xavier's School in Jaipur is where he graduated from and obtained his diploma. In 1999, he completed the necessary national exams to get a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Delhi. After finishing college in 2000, he spent many years working at Trilogy, a software development firm.

When his father was diagnosed with cancer, he returned to India after working as a Senior Associate, Delivery Manager, and Product Manager at Trilogy in Texas. They had little interest in astrology, but they were anticipated to return. He changed course. He planned to create an IT firm in his hometown.

He started GirnarSoft with his brother. CarDekho was conceived at a New Delhi auto show. They established their business after incorporating the website. They had some rough patches. Stock losses totaled 1 crore in 2009. After losing their savings, they were broken. They came up with CarDekho as a consolation prize, and the rest is history. The valuation of CarDekho is currently $1.2 billion. A unicorn as of the year 2021.
